Good films aren't
accidents.

Before the lights. Before the camera. There’s an idea. We take it from there.

Harish and Samruddhi

A story about
two storytellers.

In 2015, two aspiring filmmakers, Harish and Samruddhi, cross paths while creating their first short film. What begins as a creative collaboration slowly transforms into friendship, then love, united by a shared obsession with storytelling. Their second film finds recognition, but the true story unfolds away from the applause.

Through uncertainty, persistence, and countless unfinished drafts, Aproop Production is born in 2019. As the years pass, the studio crafts stories for brands, companies, and institutions, through documentaries, commercials, music videos, and narrative films, quietly seeking the point where purpose meets creativity. And while each film reaches its own destination, together they become chapters of a larger story: one still waiting to be told.

Harish Tarun and Samruddhi Kuchik

I am drawn to the poetry of everyday life. To people, their emotions, and their untold stories. For ten years, I have been finding different ways to fit these lives into a few frames. No two stories should feel the same. So I keep experimenting. A decade of stories behind me. And many more waiting to be told.

As a Producer at Aproop Production, I have spent the last six years behind the scenes. From the first conversation to the final frame, I bring people, places, plans, and possibilities together. Most importantly, I try to make impossible deadlines possible and ambitious scripts to screen.

Frequently asked
questions.

Ah, the million-rupee question! (Sometimes literally. Mostly, not.) There’s no one-size-fits-all price because every film has its own story, scale and little quirks. The budget can depend on the concept, duration, shoot days, locations, cast, crew, equipment and post-production. Tell us what you have in mind, and we’ll help figure out the smartest way to bring it to seamless conversation without making the budget feel like a thriller.

Yes. From pre-production, scripting and planning to casting, locations, crew, shooting, editing, sound, colour grading, graphics, music and mixing to final delivery — we can handle the entire journey. Of course, this is a professionally ‘crewzy’ thing!

The short answer? — various types of creatives… The longer answer? — Documentaries, brand films, advertising films, short films, songs, jingles and cinematic reels.

It depends on the project. A simple corporate or social media film might take a few days, while documentaries and larger productions can take several weeks or even months. As a general guide, many Ad films can take around 2–3 weeks from concept to final delivery. We move as quickly as the project allows but never so quickly that the film forgets to look good.

Why not? A smaller budget doesn't mean we can't make something good. But it does mean we need to be clear about what is possible and what kind of output you're expecting. A big-budget idea and a small-budget execution are not always the same thing. The good news? We can help you figure out where to scale, where to simplify and where it’s worth spending. So, come to us with your budget and your expectations. We'll have an honest conversation and see how best we can make it work. And yes, just like everything else in life — Jitne mein jitna mil sakta hai, utna hi milega. But within that, we'll always try to find the smartest and most creative way forward.

Perfect. That's how many good films begin. You can come to us with a complete script, a rough concept, a reference board or simply an idea that you can't stop thinking about. And if you need a little creative push, our writing department is highly appreciated by our clients — so we can also help you explore some fresh ideas, develop the concept and shape the story. From there, we can write the script and take it all the way through production. Basically, bring us the spark. Our team will help build the fire.

Firstly, we talk. Over a call, coffee, meeting or whatever works best. We get to know your brand or organisation, understand what you’re trying to communicate and discuss the different possibilities for the project. Then comes the important part: figuring out what actually makes sense. Depending on your requirements, we may suggest the type of film, creative direction and content strategy that could work best. From there, the journey usually looks something like this: Ideas → Strategy → Budget → Approval → Advance → Script → Plan → Shoot → Edit → Feedback → Final Film → Remaining Payment → Your Feedback → Hopefully, the next project! 🚀
